Make Counting a Hands-On Moment
Raise a felt finger, choose a number and build a simple sum together. This colourful counting board gives children a visual way to practise early maths through movable numbers and foldable felt fingers, at home or in a supervised classroom activity.
Felt activity board · Removable number pieces · Finger counting · Recommended ages 3–6

Ways to Practise Together
- Counting: raise fingers one at a time and count aloud.
- Number recognition: match a displayed quantity with a number piece.
- Addition: show two groups of fingers and count the total.
- Subtraction: fold fingers down and count what remains.
- Sorting: arrange number pieces in order.
Start with small numbers and choose activities appropriate to the child’s current level. The supplier also suggests number bonds, doubling, halving, multiplication and place-value activities; these are possible guided uses, not guaranteed learning outcomes or a complete maths curriculum.
